alice nine. - MIRROR BALL (single + Limited Ed. DVD rips)

Hey, hey... Long time, no see, but I am back!  Decided to change a few things around here. For instance, all entries are going to be Friends-locked after two weeks, so if you haven't friended me, be sure to do so quickly so I can friend you back and keep you from missing out on the goodness! (A Friends-Only post will be up soon as I'm done with this, if you want to drop a line there and make sure I got you added.)

The first thing I'm posting in this new round is the latest single by my beloved alice nine., entitled MIRROR BALL. Below, you will find links for a zip file containing the three songs included on the single ripped at 192 kbps. Following that, are DVD-rips of the two music videos included on the Limited Edition A & B versions of the single, for MIRROR BALL and ERASER -Memorie d'une fleur-. Personally, I like the version of ERASER off of ALPHA better, but oh well. I'm just glad Saga's grown his hair out again... I was a sad panda when he chopped it off for JEWELS.

And just so you all know, I'm going to be pretty much working my way backwards through the rest of the A9 stuff I have before moving on. So, without further ado...

Gackt PV Collection

I HAVE RECENTLY FIGURED OUT HOW TO RIP THE VIDEOS FROM THE RED & BLUE DVDs WITHOUT THE SUBTITLES SHOWING UP, SO THEY ARE IN THE PROCESS OF BEING RE-UPLOADED. PLEASE EXCUSE ANY BROKEN LINKS YOU MAY FIND AT THIS TIME. THANK YOU!

As the first official post to my new music-sharing journal, I would like to share my collection of Gackt PVs. The majority of these were ripped from my Red and Blue Filmography DVDs, complete with Japanese subtitles. I know... subtitles are annoying on music videos, I've said this myself many times. But I tried various different programs to rip the videos and every time, there they are! Possibly because the subtitles default to "On" when watching the DVD, itself. Anyway, they're not really that obtrusive, so I'm not very concerned about them being on there. My apologies to anyone who can't stand them, though.

You might notice a couple of the videos have little footnote markers next to their names. Please see my comments at the bottom of the list for these two.

All files uploaded to MediaFire. Don't like it? See rule #3.

The Rules

Just like every other music-sharing journal, I've got a few rules to follow...

1) Please comment if you take something. - It makes me feel like the time I spent uploading this stuff didn't totally go to waste.

2) Please let me know if any of the links are broken/incorrect. - Sometimes I might use the wrong link for something, especially if I'm tired when making the post. If you run into one that's not right, just leave me a polite little note to point it out. Keyword: polite. Anything seen as abusive/demanding will likely make me turn this into a friends-only journal with you permanently banned from it.

3) Do not ask me to upload a file somewhere else, period. - Do you have any idea how long it takes to upload these things? In the case of videos and full albums, about an hour each. I really do feel for you if you can't download from a certain service, but you have to appreciate how much time it's taken me to do this, too. You know how the old saying goes... Beggars can't be choosers.

4) Respect the law. - These are for sample purposes only. By law, you're required to delete them from your system after 24 hours. I'm not going to hold a gun to your head and make you delete them after 24 hours, but I gotta cover my ass here and make sure you are all aware of this.

5) Like what you hear? Support the artists! - Going along with the above rule, if you like something you've heard/seen here, then go ahead and buy the original CD/DVD. I provide handy little links to the products featured here just for that very reason. If you want a blanket recommendation on where to purchase stuff... I like YesAsia for my various Japanese music items. Their prices are good, and they offer free shipping to the US & Canada on orders over $25. Which, if you've ever imported a full-length CD, you know the price of one will cover that. CD Japan is another good place, although it's a bit pricier.

6) Friend Me! - Okay, so that's not exactly a rule... but if you're interested in keeping up-to-date with my latest offerings, it's a good idea. Also, as of the revamp on 4/24/08, all entries older than two weeks will be Friends-Locked. So there's another good reason to friend me so you don't miss out.
